Lavandula x intermedia ‘Bridget Chloe’ (PP27,182)
Patented as a sport of Lavandula ‘Provence’, Bridget Chloe Lavender features grey foliage resistant to leaf spot and vibrant purple flowers that bloom in summer. It has demonstrated exceptional resilience to heat, humidity, and summer rains in the Southeast US. This cultivar earned the International Perfume Foundation’s Gold Award of Excellence. A strong attractor of pollinators, Bridget Chloe contains much less camphor than typical Lavandin types, giving it a sweeter, floral scent ideal for culinary use. As a Lavandula x intermedia hybrid, it was developed by John Thomas Hendon Jr. in Blairsville, Georgia, after its 2003 discovery.
